Designing the world of tomorrow, today

Hello!

My name is Alex Teltevskiy and I’m a multi-disciplinary creative professional from Huntington Beach, California. I founded LXT Works in 2007 as a showcase for my creative work. Over time, it has turned into my full-service marketing agency and a trusted source for my clients’ creative work.

I envision a future where companies are able to embrace the full power of their brands, combining data, design & storytelling with innovative technologies to interact with customers on a level more profound than ever before.

By Building Breakthrough Brands™, I help companies step into this future and make a meaningful impact on the world today, for a better tomorrow.

Big agency results at a fraction of the cost

With so many options available for creative services, I’ve created a chart illustrating how I compare to the 3 most popular ones. Using decades of multirole experience, I’m able to combine some of the best pros of all 3 options - without any of the cons - to handle all creative needs of a typical small- to medium-sized business.

My guiding principles

Genuine passion

Creative work is not just a job - it’s my passion in life and it makes me go the extra step. I sincerely believe that design can help improve people’s lives and, little by little, make the world a better place. It brings me joy to see my work make companies more authentic and successful.

No compromises

I don’t cut any corners when it comes to the quality of my creative work because my clients depend on it to make the best impression, every time. Error-free, created to exacting specifications and with great attention to detail - my work is elegant, reliable and uniformly high quality.

Outstanding service

The best creative work would be nothing without excellent service to make it easy for the client. It’s not just an empty slogan - it’s the core of my being. Every client is equally important and receives my utmost dedication and time. I become one of the most vested stakeholders in their business and a true brand ambassador.

Roughly meaning Works by Alex T (aka LXT Works), it’s a name I chose for my agency a long time ago. But as with any good creative work, there are layers of meaning that go deeper. While “LXT” is not hard to figure out - it’s a phonetic spelling of my name - “Works” has a few implications.

Where does the name come from?

Defined as a “place for manufacturing things”, the word reflects my systemic approach for making creative work that’s engineered to succeed in the real world. “The works” also implies providing a full set of deliverables, which mirrors my ability to take care of all creative needs companies may have.

My creative journey

Portrait of Alex the marketer

Coming from a family of designers and engineers, I’m a visual communication expert with a passion for storytelling. Inspired by my parents’ careers in industrial and graphic design, I’ve been drawn to design’s power to convey even the most complicated ideas in a simple and graceful manner.

In college, I studied both design and business - an edge that set me apart early in my career. When many designers focus on art for art’s sake, my business-first mindset delivered faster, more effective results. My experience in storytelling also proved valuable in crafting emotionally-resonant marketing.

Today, I live in Southern California with my wife and two kids - a global hub for marketing and design that fuels my creativity. Through my LXT Works brand, I offer freelance creative services and am always open to exciting new opportunities!

Beyond work

I’m a lover of all things analog - film photography, vintage cars, mechanical watches, and slow, introspective hobbies. In my free time, I’m working on a book about minimalist living with a focus on memory-making and meaningful consumption, posting film photos to my personal Instagram, running a little blog about my analog antics and sometimes even making video reviews of cameras older than the Beatles!

I’m also an avid runner, cyclist, swimmer, hiker, bookworm, film buff, tinkerer, antique restorer, and coffee enthusiast. Equally excited by the latest running gear or a decades-old arthouse film.

At heart, I’m easy-going, endlessly curious, and drawn to good design, great stories, and the finer things in life.
